We certainly understand that with some of the more recent draft picks it is somewhat unrealistic to grade them as players, but this system gives us a general idea.  Keep in mind that we are not grading the picks on how good they currently are, but how they performed for the team that drafted them.  For example, Cedric Benson would currently get a 7 as he is a good player but for the Bears, who originally drafted him, he averaged 500 yards and three touchdowns for his 3 years.  That's a 4.

0- A complete waste of flesh.

1- Nearly a complete waste of flesh.

2- If you're a fan of that team, you probably wouldn't pee on him if he was on fire.

3- Bad boy, bad boy, what cha gonna do.

4- Below average.

5- Middlin.

6- You're not going to buy their jersey, but they're okay.

7- A good player.

8- A very good player.

9- A great player.
