John Denver's "real" last name was Deutschendorf.  He was not born in Denver, he was born in Roswell, New Mexico.

Denver Broncos 2020 Draft Grade: B

The Broncos started the draft with the perfect scenario as WR Jerry Jeudy fell to them.  Then they follow it up K.J. Hamler, a wide receiver who struggles to catch the ball?  He was a 4th/5th round type.  They snared tight end Albert O in the 4th.  We like 3rd round CB Michael Ojemudia better than most.  G Lloyd Cushenberry has experience against the best defensive linemen in college and if guard Netane Muti can stay healthy he will be a late round steal.

Denver Broncos 2018 Draft Grade: A-

This is the Broncos best draft in years.  They added Von Miller 2.0 in Bradley Chubb.  Good luck trying to block those two and get a pass off.  WRs Courtland Sutton and Daesean Hamilton could be the starting wide receiver tandem as early as 2019.  LB Josey Jewell has great instincts and may become a starter in spite of his physical limitations. 5th round TE Troy Fumagalli was undervalued and Royce Freeman has a chance to win the starting running back job as a rookie.

Denver Broncos 2017 Draft Grade: C+

The Broncos needed a left tackle and they took Garrett Bolles with the 20th pick. He has some elite traits but he's already 25 and has issues anchoring against the bull rush.  We preferred Ryan Ramczyk.  Second round DE Demarcus Walker could become a star, but they drafted two wide receivers, which is not a position of need, and injured tight end Jake Butt.

Denver Broncos 2016 Draft Grade: C

We only liked two of Denver's picks and one of those, Paxton Lynch, probably won't play much as a rookie.  The other pick we liked was S Justin Simmons in the third.  Adam Gotsis in the second round was a head scratcher and other than Devontae Booker we don't see many snaps for this class.

Denver Broncos 2015 Draft Grade: B+

The Broncos were strong in the first four rounds.  They traded up to have a shot at one of the premier pass rushers in the draft in Shane Ray.  He and Von Miller could be scary.  Offensive tackle Ty Sambrailo should be in the mix to start year one and center Max Garcia and corner Lorenzo Doss were two of the draft's more undervalued players.  Also keep on eye on Ohio State tight end Jeff Heuerman who could become a reliable target for Her Highness as early as this year.

UDFA most likely to make the team: Kalon Davis- OT, Clemson

Denver Broncos 2014 Draft Grade: C+

CB Bradley Roby was a solid pick at the end of the first round.  The Broncos needed to get younger at corner.  Second round wideout Cody Latimer has huge upside but wide receiver isn't really a position of need for the Broncos.  They added two plodding offensive linemen and two back-up linebackers in the middle and late rounds.  After their first two picks they didn't really do much.

UDFA most likely to make the team:  Kapri Bibbs- RB, Colorado State
